We have been part of An Bord Iascaigh Mhara since 2018, the State Agency responsible for developing the Irish Seafood Industry who help offer technical expertise, business support, funding, training and also promote responsible environmental practice.

Did you know?

Oysters are good for the environment by helping to keep the waters clean by filtering the pollutants out of the water, they act as a natural filter as they feed from filtering algae in the water. They also help to maintain sediments which then helps in protecting the shoreline from erosion. 

Fun fact

A single oyster can filter more than 50 gallons of water in one day!
